The first stage of the tournament was held on July 19. DSR was represented by:

-Senior Software Engineer Ivan Lukianenko, who secured his spot in the prestigious Gold Cup bracket

-Software Engineer Ajam Azamov, who won all his main games and advanced to the Silver Cup but narrowly missed the Gold Cup after the tiebreak matches.
