On July 19, 2025, the qualifying stage of the Corporate Champions League (CCL) Chess Cup — a large-scale tournament for employees of medium and large businesses — was held in Tashkent.
🔸 Representing DSR were Senior Software Engineer Ivan Lukianenko and Software Engineer Ajam Azamov.
The first day of the tournament was intense: participants had to play five rounds in rapid format (10 minutes + 2 seconds per move).
– Ajam Azamov confidently won all his main games and advanced to the Silver Cup, but narrowly missed the Gold Cup after the tiebreak matches.
– Ivan Lukianenko, on the other hand, successfully passed the tiebreak stage and secured his spot in the prestigious Gold Cup bracket.
⚡️ The final stage of the tournament will take place on July 26, with seven Swiss-system rounds in each Cup.
The outcomes will decide:
• Gold Cup individual champions
• Silver Cup individual champions
• The overall team winner
