On July 19, 2025, the qualifying stage of the Corporate Champions League (CCL) Chess Cup — a large-scale tournament for employees of medium and large businesses — was held in Tashkent.

Representing DSR were Senior Software Engineer Ivan Lukianenko and Software Engineer Ajam Azamov.

The first day of the tournament was intense: participants had to play five rounds in rapid format (10 minutes + 2 seconds per move).

– Ajam Azamov confidently won all his main games and advanced to the Silver Cup, but narrowly missed the Gold Cup after the tiebreak matches.

– Ivan Lukianenko, on the other hand, successfully passed the tiebreak stage and secured his spot in the prestigious Gold Cup bracket.

The final stage of the tournament will take place on July 26, with seven Swiss-system rounds in each Cup.

The outcomes will decide:

• Gold Cup individual champions
• Silver Cup individual champions
• The overall team winner
